Dr. Lam joined Sera Prognostics in September 2018. His career in maternal fetal medicine has included work with (at the time) the nation’s largest private perinatal practice, as well as service as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Dr. Lam has performed clinical and basic science research throughout his career, serving as a site or national principal investigator in multiple trials. He is extensively published in medical journals, textbooks and online medical resources and has regularly lectured to medical students, residents and peers in national and international venues. He received an A.B. from Occidental College in Biology and Religious Studies and an M.D from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Dr. Lam performed his residency and chief residency at Banner Good Samaritan Phoenix and his fellowship training in MFM at the University of North Carolina.
